Job Summary
Electrical Engineer & Python Expert freelance AI trainer role focusing on project-based work. Design computational engineering problems that challenge frontier AI models, requiring verifiable numerical answers and dependence on specialized tools (ngspice, scikit-rf, python-control, pandapower, PyPSA, or similar). Create Python reference solutions, provide netlist files, and set domain-appropriate tolerances. Operate within Linux containers with an automated judge to evaluate model answers. Responsibilities include selecting anchor tools, crafting problems, validating solutions, and iterating to achieve target difficulty. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, Python proficiency, and ability to design problems that require a specialized solver. Part-time, non-permanent projects with compensation up to $50/hour equivalent; expected workload around 10–20 hours per week during active phases.”,
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of research, applied, or teaching experience
- Python proficiency for writing reference solutions
- Experience with at least one scriptable electrical engineering package (ngspice, scikit-rf, python-control, pandapower, PyPSA, or similar)
- Strong written English (C1+)
