Job Summary
Hands-on Electrical Engineer role focusing on supporting CAPEX projects from start to finish, specifying materials, coordinating installations, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues in manufacturing equipment with emphasis on PLCs, HMIs, and Allen-Bradley systems; maintaining 12V–480V power distribution and instrumentation; overseeing contractors to ensure safety and quality; actively troubleshooting equipment to minimize downtime; enforcing plant safety policies; and providing support to plant management. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Controls, at least 5 years in manufacturing, PLC programming expertise, and experience in project leadership and contractor management. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Controls
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of leading CAPEX projects and successful equipment installations
- Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems
- Prior experience managing contractors and overseeing project execution
- Experience with power distribution and industrial instrumentation/controls
