Job Summary
Electrical Engineer to develop solutions and design plans for complex electrical systems related to facilities, infrastructure, and utility systems for DoD/acquisition support at Hurlburt Field, FL. Responsibilities include preparing technical requirements, specifications, and cost estimates; translating customer needs into actionable engineering designs; reviewing A/E contractor submissions for accuracy and compliance; providing technical guidance to support engineering and construction projects; assisting in project planning and documentation; performing technical reviews to ensure compliance with standards and regulations; developing design instructions and supporting documentation for project execution; preparing reports, presentations, and technical documentation to support decision-making and project tracking. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least five years of relevant DoD or large-scale infrastructure experience; strong knowledge of facility power systems, high-voltage distribution, and regulatory requirements; ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing solutions and designs for complex electrical systems
- Experience related to DoD or commercial facilities, infrastructure, and utility systems
- Experience with facility electrical systems and high-voltage distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical system design and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication with contractors and project teams
