Job Summary
Conduct electrical design engineering and provide technical advice for multidisciplinary projects across New Zealand. Deliver electrical design services while supporting project planning, client relationship growth, and service delivery in the Power & Energy sector. Develop skills in power generation, renewable technologies, transmission, and distribution by applying in-depth knowledge of New Zealand electrical codes and standards. Utilize electrical design modelling software to support client needs and maintain strong communication and attention to detail. Requires a minimum of three years' professional experience and an Electrical Engineering qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering qualification
- Current, clean driver licence
- Demonstrated experience in electrical design across a broad spectrum of the discipline
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand electrical codes and standards
- Experience using electrical design modelling software
- Strong report writing, communication and attention to detail
- Client centric, collaborative and able to work effectively with people at all levels, both within and external to the organisation
- Strong organisational ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver to deadlines
- Active commitment to continuous personal improvement, professional development and WSP's Guiding Principles
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably minimum of three years' professional experience in a related discipline
