Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

Job Summary
Design panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and temporary power systems. Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, bills of material, and submittal packages. Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit, and coordination studies while ensuring compliance with NEC, UL 508A, UL 891, UL 67, and NEMA specifications. Support manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and customer technical inquiries while collaborating with project management, purchasing, and production teams. This role offers exceptional opportunities to expand technical expertise while participating in the complete lifecycle of engineered electrical power distribution equipment.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical power engineering or power distribution equipment
- Working knowledge of NEC and industrial power distribution
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office
- Experience with SKM, ETAP or EasyPower
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
