Job Summary
Design and develop power electronics systems for defense and government projects, including transformers, rectifiers, solid state relays, and motor controllers. Lead work on high-voltage applications (450VAC/300VDC or higher) involving gate driving circuit design, thermal management, and control strategies. Requires a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, US citizenship, and an active Secret security clearance. Based on-site in Philadelphia five days per week with a salary range of $100,000 to $140,000. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with Power Electronics - i.e. 450VAC/300VDC or higher
- Experience working with any of the following - transformers, rectifiers, solid state relays, induction motors, switchboards, motor controllers etc.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of device characteristics, gate driving circuit design, thermal design, topologies, modulation schemes, control strategies etc.
- US citizenship
- Active security clearance (Secret Clearance)
Desired Qualifications
- Active security clearance (Secret Clearance) would be ideal, but isn't 100% essential
