Job Summary
Electrical Engineer with expertise in power electronics hardware and motor-control firmware design to join the Electrical Technologies team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include concept development, prototype design, integration and test of low- and high-power electronics, motors and controllers; improve legacy systems; generate electrical-architecture solutions; perform analyses; present findings; lead technical efforts; may lead cross-functional teams; contribute to hardware-software-controls integration; apply DoD/space-domain experience; ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related technical discipline
- progressive engineering experience (12+ years with a Bachelor’s, 10+ with a Master’s, or 7+ with a PhD)
- ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
