Electrical Engineer - Plant D

Electrical Engineer role focusing on electrical test development and optimization for Vertiv products. Responsibilities include analyzing trends with management to develop solutions and procedures, managing equipment and tooling for electrical testing to meet product electrical functionality and customer satisfaction, implementing processes for electrical test to assure product requirements, following up on objectives set by production management, developing cost reduction ideas through process design and tooling acquisitions, maintaining or improving manufacturing efficiencies, managing and updating test documentation, and improving test yield. The position requires reading and understanding electrical schematics, 3+ years of experience in electronics circuit boards and fault analysis, familiarity with MV switchgear standards (ANSI, IEEE, UL, NEMA), and BS Electronics degree, with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or Engineering Base, MS Office, PDM, and Minitab. The candidate should be bilingual (80%), self-motivated with leadership qualities, capable of prioritizing issues, and able to train and coach Test Technicians, participate in failure analysis, and support TL 9000 and ISO 9000 standards. The role is based in Reynosa, Mexico, and involves in-person electrical testing work. Environment includes exposure to lifting, standing, and work around moving machinery.
