Job Summary
Electrical Engineer in a full-time hybrid role based in San Francisco (3 days/week in-office). Lead electrical design across analog, power, thermal, and mixed-signal subsystems from requirements through architecture, validation, and manufacturing. Responsibilities include schematic capture, SI/PI simulations, PCB layout reviews, harness design with component selection, and coordinating with mechanical engineering for fabrication drawings. Oversee design validation and qualification campaigns (EMI/EMC, interoperability), support manufacturing teams during subsystem integration, and contribute to embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet). Seek candidates with a bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace engineering or related field, 4+ years’ experience, strong PCB and lab skills, and knowledge of high-speed design and DC-DC converters as a plus. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience taking designs from schematics to manufacturing
- Experience with power, analog, and mixed signal PCB design
- Experience with Altium tools for PCB design
- Experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
- Excellent solder rework skills
- Experience with embedded systems and peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet)
