Job Summary
Design and implement hardware/software solutions for energy management and power scheduling systems while developing PCBs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into power electronics products and maintain documentation and testing procedures. Troubleshoot and debug hardware/software issues. This role supports cutting-edge research at the University of British Columbia within an interdisciplinary team focused on sustainability and state-of-the-art equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience in hardware/software development, preferably in energy management or a related industry
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Python)
- Proficiency in PCB design
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
