Job Summary
Lead the electrical design for healthcare and commercial facilities, developing approaches for power, lighting, low voltage, and telecom systems and coordinating with architects and other disciplines. Produce design drawings and specifications, perform load studies and arc-flash analyses, ensure QA/QC compliance, and manage project budgets and schedules. Mentor EITs, supervise a team of engineers, and guide project delivery from concept through construction while supporting SOW compliance and coordination with government or commercial clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 9+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Security clearance may be required
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with NEC, NFPA codes and applicable government requirements
- PE certification (Professional Engineer)
- Design electrical systems for healthcare and commercial environments (power, lighting, low voltage, telecommunications)
- Mentor EITs and manage up to 8 direct reports
- Strong communication and coordination with architects and other disciplines
- Ability to perform construction phase services including submittals and RFI responses
- Ability to develop design concepts, analyze existing systems, and propose modifications
