Job Summary
Electrical Engineer for elevator systems focused on New Product Introduction and Product Lifecycle Management. Responsible for delivering electrical designs aligned with system requirements and timelines, coordinating prototype builds, creating and maintaining product structures and BOMs in PLM, participating in design reviews and risk mitigation (DFMEA), executing ECR/ECN workflows, ensuring configuration control and documentation integrity, and supporting testing, verification, and certification processes. Must have BS in electrical engineering and 2+ years of experience, with knowledge of electrical design (control panels, power distribution, safety circuits), PLM tools (Windchill), and global standards (EN, IEC, ASME A17.1). Travel up to 10% and ability to work with cross-functional teams across global locations.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in electrical engineering or similar
- 2+ years engineering experience
- Electrical system design (control panels, power distribution, safety circuits)
- BOM structuring and configuration management
- Understanding of system integration (electrical + mechanical + software)
- Knowledge of global standards (EN, IEC, ASME A17.1)
- Root cause analysis and problem solving
- Hands-on experience with PLM tools (Windchill, or similar)
- Engineering change management (ECR/ECN)
- Familiarity with stage-gate/NPI processes
- Data accuracy and structured documentation mindset
- Ability to travel up to 10%
