Electrical Engineer – MV/LV/AV Power Generation (Saudi National)

Job Summary
Define and implement the project's power generation strategy for MV, LV, and AV systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Manage vendor performance, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee implementation to meet quality, schedule, and budget targets. Develop operational solutions, including system settings and emergency procedures, while planning preventive maintenance programs for all power assets. Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations for system upgrades and optimization. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, codes, and Parsons' safety policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams where power systems interface with CCTV and access control. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 6 years of power generation experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in power generation and electrical systems, preferably covering MV, LV, and associated AV/ELV systems
- Proven experience with power generation systems (e.g., generators, UPS, switchgear, distribution panels) and associated control and protection systems
- Experience working on the client side or in an owner's representative role
- Excellent knowledge of: Power generation systems (MV and LV)
- Excellent knowledge of: Power distribution and protection schemes
- Excellent knowledge of: Integration with CCTV, access control, and related AV/ELV systems
- Excellent knowledge of: Relevant electrical codes, standards, and local authority regulations
- Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for electrical systems
- Ability to manage and evaluate service providers and vendors, including performance monitoring and contract compliance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct feasibility studies and develop technical and operational reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and high-quality technical documentation and reports
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in relevant engineering and office software tools (e.g., electrical design tools, MS Office)
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
