Job Summary

Design and analyze electrical circuits for battery charging, power supply, and related systems while participating in new product development from concept to mass production. Perform electrical tolerance analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), support prototype and pilot builds, and conduct electrical verification testing to generate detailed reports. Release electrical prints and parts qualification reports, evaluate complex components, and develop test procedures and fixtures to ensure compliance with functional specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers to analyze testing results and participate in design evaluation. This Junior Electrical Engineer role focuses on developing intelligent smart battery, charger, and power supply solutions for two-way communication and security video systems used in professional and mission-critical environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Less than 3 years of relevant experience
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including schematic design and circuit analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for learning and a drive to deliver high-quality results

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with battery and charger design and testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with battery cell charging/discharging characteristics and associated design requirements
  • Knowledge of digital signal communication protocols (e.g., I2C, USB)
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
  • Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout design tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot digital designs, complemented by a knowledge of RF technology
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a strong plus)
  • Experience handling Hazardous Location Certifications (e.g., ATEX, TIA, INMETRO, MSHA, CSA, or UL) or related products is highly preferred
