Job Summary
Develop construction documents, project specifications, and reports while preparing electrical design drawings for power distribution systems, lighting layout, Fire Alarm, and equipment sizing. Provide markups to drafting teams and execute construction administration tasks throughout all project phases. Perform MEP, architectural, structural, and civil coordination, research technical data, and travel to project sites as needed. Cultivate relationships with clients and internal teams while developing your career through peer-learning. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors (BS) in Electrical Engineering
- Required to have passed FE exam (with EIT designation) with ability to get PE within 12 months
- 5+ years of experience in an architectural and/or consulting engineering design environment
- Must be able to travel to project sites as needed or required
Desired Qualifications
- PE preferred
- Experience in industrial electrical systems would be a plus
- Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of applicable engineering codes
- Ability to coordinate with controls and equipment vendors to generate instrumentation and controls field installation drawings and wiring schematics is a plus
