Job Summary
Electrical Engineer needed to design and integrate medium-voltage power distribution systems for modular solutions supporting mission-critical data centers and industrial applications. Key responsibilities include designing power distribution systems and one-line diagrams, specifying equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS, transfer switches), supporting protection and coordination (short-circuit, arc-flash), developing grounding and bonding approaches, integrating electrical with mechanical/controls, producing drawings and BOMs, ensuring NEC/UL/IEEE/NFPA compliance, and supporting manufacturing, FAT, commissioning, and field troubleshooting. Required skills include experience with medium-voltage systems (5kV-35kV), knowledge of electrical codes/standards, AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Preferred qualifications include data-center or critical power design experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in power distribution, industrial, utility, or mission-critical environments
- Experience with medium-voltage systems (5kV-35kV) including switchgear and protection concepts
- Familiarity with NEC, UL, IEEE, NFPA standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar design tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred)
