Job Summary
Electrical Engineer Manager responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering team in design, development, testing, integration, support, and sustainment of electrical systems and PCBAs. Drive technical leadership, resource management, and continuous improvement; ensure high-quality deliverables for new product development, production, quality, and business objectives. Responsibilities include managing resources and schedules, mentoring and developing the team, overseeing system architecture and PCBAs, coordinating with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management, establishing procedures and design reviews, supporting NPD from concept through prototype, release, and sustaining engineering, reviewing designs and test plans, maintaining documentation and change control, managing PCBA configuration and component lifecycle, identifying long-lead components, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, supporting inspection and test strategies, ensuring compliance with industry, customer, quality, regulatory, and safety requirements, participating in strategic planning and budgeting, providing expertise on gimbal systems, electrical architectures, FPGA and embedded hardware, and supporting audits and customer reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related engineering discipline
- 7 years' experience in electrical engineering and new product development
- 3 years' experience in engineering leadership with people management
- Experience supporting complex electro-mechanical systems, PCBAs, and embedded hardware, preferred
- Experience in the camera, imaging, gimbal, and/or UAS industry, preferred
