Job Summary
Lead the development of comprehensive electrical designs for building systems (power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, and advanced lighting controls) while integrating low-voltage solutions (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, telecommunications). Perform load analyses, short-circuit studies, and voltage drop calculations; manage projects from concept through construction administration; coordinate with architects and MEP teams; ensure regulatory compliance; produce BIM/construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD; mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSAE)
- 3+ years of professional electrical design experience specifically within the building systems/MEP sector
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Proven ability to design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for diverse building types
- Licensure: Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
