Job Summary
Electrical Engineer role focusing on designing and architecting complex electrical and power distribution systems for healthcare, government, education, and transportation sectors. Responsibilities include system architecture, project stewardship across lifecycle, technical mentorship, quality control and compliance with NEC/local codes, BIM/digital integration using Revit and Bluebeam, and sector-specific expertise. Requires 3–20+ years of engineering experience in an A/E or consulting environment, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, active EIT certification, and intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Preferred: Active Texas PE license via comity. Hybrid work schedule (in-office M–Th, remote Fridays).
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Active EIT certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
