Job Summary
Electrical Engineer needed to design electrical systems for industrial, educational, and commercial facilities in Plainville, CT. Responsibilities include electrical load calculations, photometrics, generator sizing, and preparing drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, with support from CAD designers. Conduct energy audits for industrial and manufacturing clients and collaborate with other Facility Solutions Division focus areas including mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, industrial wastewater treatment, and energy. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years of experience; US person status required for aerospace/defense eligibility. Tools/skills include REVIT, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Procore; EIT certification is a plus. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting/standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in various conditions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 2-5 Years Experience
- REVIT, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Procore experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification a plus
- US Person - Eligible to work at aerospace and defense companies with export restrictions
- Experience in industrial and manufacturing settings a plus
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, outdoor work, etc.
