Job Summary
Electrical Engineer Lead responsible for coordinating and delivering electrical engineering projects from early design through construction in building environments. You will support project management activities, engage with clients and project teams, assist in proposals, review building systems, perform load calculations and system analysis, and ensure compliance with CEC/OBC and project requirements. The role involves mentorship and opportunities for leadership growth within a stable, respected consulting firm offering a flexible hybrid work environment across GTA and Ontario projects.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the buildings sector
- Registered as an EIT or eligible for P.Eng licensure in Ontario is asset
- Experience producing design documentation and supporting project delivery (drawings, specifications, cost estimates)
- Familiarity with construction processes and building systems coordination
- Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and Ontario Building Code (OBC)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with teams
