Job Summary
Lead the design and coordination of electrical building systems for K-12 and higher education projects, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting controls, and fire alarm systems; perform calculations and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD; manage multiple MEP projects with focus on schedules, budgets, and client expectations; mentor EITs and junior staff; collaborate across MEP, architectural, and structural teams; participate in client meetings and site investigations to verify conditions and ensure design intent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; EIT candidates with a strong path toward licensure will also be considered
- Proven experience managing MEP projects independently within a consulting engineering environment
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and applicable electrical engineering analysis software
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and building systems coordination
- Ability to lead client interactions and communicate technical concepts clearly across multidisciplinary teams
