Job Summary
Integrate, test, and update the AC electrical power generation system with engine-driven generators and controllers. Review the AC and DC power distribution architecture, including bus signals, configuration updates, and wiring changes. Develop and review test plans for power generation and distribution, conducting both bench and airplane tests. Define electrical power system parts, manage sourcing and development, and design the current return and grounding network strategy. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, labs, and technicians to ensure the electrical system meets power needs for JetZero's blended-wing body demonstrator aircraft.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of experience in electrical power design for Part 25 aircraft
- Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot test failures, and drive root-cause investigations, and document results clearly
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats, intellectual curiosity, and good cross-functional versatility

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with supplier oversight
- Direct experience with airplane development programs especially experimental designs
- Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and experiment airworthiness process
- Advanced power generation, storage, and distribution techniques
- Familiarity with digital thread approaches (CAD/PLM)
