Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards. Inspect completed installations and operations to ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. Prepare specifications for material purchases and oversee project production efforts to assure timely, on-budget completion. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications, and topographical maps to ensure installation conformity. Investigate and test vendor and competitor products using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Proficient in design and calculation software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team and individually
- Attention to detail and a desire for project perfection
