Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Inspect and evaluate damages to mechanical and electronic systems across industrial sites, including cold storage, refineries, and medical equipment. Conduct configuration audits, analyze specifications for equipment replacements, and determine fair market appraisals. Provide research for cost analysis of new and used equipment replacements. Produce three or more page written reports regularly, with report writing comprising 50% of day-to-day duties. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with five or more years of field experience inspecting industrial components. Candidates must be physically able to wear personal protective equipment, climb ladders, and work in conditions involving UV radiation or air pollution. The position involves on-call availability, weekend or night shifts, and local, regional, or CAT response travel.
Required Qualifications
- C1+ English level
- Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering
- 5+ years of experience inspecting and evaluating damages to different types of mechanical and electronic systems
- Field experience
- Experience working with industrial components in the field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
- Able to climb ladders to reach high areas or roofs
- Must be able to write reports of findings after inspections 50% of day-to-day duties
- Must be able to be on call or work weekends or nights
- Willingness to travel – locally, regionally, and for CAT response when needed
