Job Summary
Lead electrical system design from schematic through construction documents using Revit and related tools; design power distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage building systems; perform engineering calculations including load analysis, fault current, and coordination studies; coordinate with architects and engineering disciplines to ensure code-compliant, constructible designs; support construction administration including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related ABET-accredited program
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; EITs pursuing licensure may be considered
- 4+ years of experience designing electrical systems for building projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and standard engineering software
- Strong understanding of applicable building and electrical codes
