Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV specializing in Substation Design with a PE license and at least 8 years in the utility industry to join CLP Engineering in Corona, CA. The role includes designing power distribution systems, conducting analysis, and project management. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and willing to travel (20-30%). Salary range is $130,000-$170,000.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree, Electrical Engineering, from accredited university with emphasis in power systems required
- PE License required
- Minimum of eight (8+) years of work experience in the electric utility industry
- Expert knowledge with medium voltage electrical substations and distribution systems required
- Expert with power system analysis, distribution system modeling, and protective device coordination required
- Experienced in blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services required
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to prepare and maintain construction project schedules in Microsoft Project
- Experience with ETAP or similar software
- Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
