Job Summary
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, PCs, and variable frequency drives while assisting technicians with equipment issues. Design, assemble, and install new electrical systems as required, maintaining configuration backups and documentation for all drives and PCs. Initiate and complete process improvement projects, train department personnel, and manage spare parts requisitions. Ensure workplace safety and comply with SQF procedures for food safety reporting. Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels, accommodating non-standard hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years Electrical Engineering in an industrial maintenance environment
- BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering)
- PLC, HMI, and variable speed drive programming
- PC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
- Must have good communication skills and be able to multi-task
- Some nights and weekends work may be required
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
