Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing various electrical systems, including DCS control systems, PLC control systems, low voltage power distribution, and process controls in industrial and utility infrastructure spaces. Responsibilities include overseeing projects from conceptual design to completion, participating in safety and engineering reviews, preparing documentation such as datasheets and estimates, and supporting plant construction and commissioning projects. The role requires an in-depth knowledge of PLCs and DCSs, along with experience in industrial instrumentation and controls. Candidates should have a U.S. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or the foreign degree equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of industrial manufacturing facilities and utility infrastructure spaces
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and controls
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCSs)
- Possess a Professional Engineering (PE) license or are willing to pursue obtaining your PE preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in REVIT
