Electrical Engineer-in-Training

Job Summary
Develop electrical design drawings for building systems by creating one-line diagrams, performing load analysis, and generating panel schedules. Conduct site visits to gather measurements and sketches, then prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for review. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, work with multiple disciplines on drafting and CADD tasks, and review shop drawings to ensure project compliance. Coordinate with sub-consultants, attend bi-weekly project meetings, and maintain ISO standards while meeting budget targets. Achieve individual utilization targets and complete all duties within specified scope and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 Years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program
- General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required certifications
- Pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Motor vehicle checks
Desired Qualifications
- Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
