Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III – Lead the development of advanced electronics hardware and software for industrial control systems, including embedded computing platforms and PLC-based automation. Manage large-scale projects, provide technical direction, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive on-time delivery. Travel to support evaluations, installations, commissioning, and engineering modifications. Oversee engineering changes (REAs, ECNs), maintain schematics and BOMs, create and maintain technical documentation, and design/validate circuits with PCB layout and assembly documentation. Utilize diagnostic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, counters, pulse generators) to analyze performance and validate designs. Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-performance solutions and support growth. Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), 7–10 years of related experience, expertise in Assembly, C, C++, PLC programming, knowledge of digital/analog circuits and drive technology, proficiency with OrCAD/AutoCAD, and familiarity with real-time embedded software concepts. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7–10 years of experience in related engineering field
- Expert knowledge of Assembly, C, C++, PLC programming or other high-level programming languages
- Strong familiarity with digital and analog circuits, AC/DC motors, and drive technology
- Ability to use and interpret results from electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, counters, pulse generators)
- Working knowledge of OrCAD and AutoCAD for schematic capture, PCB design, and technical drawings
- Understanding of microprocessors, memory architectures, and interface circuitry
- Familiarity with real-time programming concepts as applied to embedded and control system software development
