Job Summary
Lead electrical systems design and coordination across mission critical, telecommunications, commercial, and government projects; oversee design development, field investigations, and construction documentation using AutoCAD and Revit; perform electrical calculations including load analysis, voltage drop, short circuit, and coordination studies; conduct arc flash studies with Easy Power or SKM Powertools; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive QA/QC across project deliverables; review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure quality and compliance; provide technical guidance and leadership through all design phases from planning to construction administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience within an MEP consulting engineering environment or related industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Easy Power, and SKM Powertools
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design, building codes, arc flash analysis, short circuit studies, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Ability to independently manage engineering responsibilities throughout all phases of the design process
- Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams, vendors, utilities, and clients
