Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III specializing in life-sciences projects with responsibilities spanning power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and building electrical systems. Oversees the Electrical discipline scope and budget on small to medium projects, coordinates with internal/external architects, engineers, clients, and trade partners, and develops design deliverables including calculations, one-line diagrams, plans, schedules, and specifications. Leads design activities across concept to construction documentation, mentors less experienced engineers, and supports RFI responses, submittals, punch lists, and field surveys. Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and strong coordination with cross-disciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors are required; travel for client development and project execution is expected.
Required Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 5 years of experience
- Professional Engineer registration in good standing
