Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III focuses on the design and engineering of electrical systems (power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems) for mid-sized, intermediate-complexity projects within life sciences and related sectors. Responsibilities include managing the discipline scope and budget, coordinating with internal/external architects and engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers; producing design deliverables such as calculations, basis of design reports, one-line diagrams, plans, schedules, installation details, and specifications; applying BIM/CAD tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) across project phases; directing design activities from studies through construction administration; mentoring junior staff and leading quality checks. Travel for client development and project execution is expected.
Required Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 5 years of experience
- Professional Engineer registration in good standing
