Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III responsible for mid-to-advanced electrical design and leadership within the Mission Critical Department for hyperscale data centers. Independently perform engineering work, develop construction documents, review shop drawings and RFIs, and guide construction activities. Work with senior design staff and project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce drawings and visual aids; review sequences of operations; interact with clients and internal stakeholders; support construction administration and project close-out deliverables. Embrace AI-enabled tools and digital workflows to improve efficiency and quality, while adhering to NEC, Life Safety, and Energy Conservation Codes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, ABET accreditation, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Capable of working remotely within the United States, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating technical information effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of five years of electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems in buildings including single/three phase power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and life safety systems
- Knowledge of codes and specifications including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and construction administration
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows
