Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III focused on analog design for new product development within Banner’s Sensors group. You will design analog and digital circuits for industrial automation sensors, evaluate electrical system performance to meet specifications, manage BOMs and ECOs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver globally competitive sensor products from prototype to final release. The role emphasizes hands-on design, cross-functional teamwork, and clear communication, with autonomy in a fast-paced development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design as a design lead
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Effective working experience with analog / small signal electrical design
- Proficiency with relevant circuit design software tools including schematic capture, PCB layout, and SPICE / simulation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with test & measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, spectrum analyzers, custom test platforms, etc.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, work in a collaborative team environment, and take initiative on design choices
- Ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas to others, both verbally and in written formats
- Ability to manage different priorities in a fast-paced development environment
