Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III responsible for designing power electronic components and motion control systems, including 1-3 axis electric motion systems and refurbishments, complex hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and development of wiring schematics, BOMs, manuals, and acceptance test procedures. The role emphasizes customer-focused problem-solving within a fast-paced engineering team, supporting fellow engineers and technicians on projects in the aerospace/defense/transportation sectors. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (or EE Technology), at least seven years of experience, and limited travel; no remote work implied. Located in Pittsburgh, PA with employer-paid benefits and a flex/9-80 or 4/10 schedule option.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
- At least seven years of relevant experience
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Limited travel required (under 20% of total time)
