Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer II is responsible for developing moderately complex electrical system designs for new products and improvements for legacy products. The role includes designing, implementing, and testing power supplies, sensor interfaces, and communication protocols. Key responsibilities involve conducting electrical design reviews, performing testing and analysis of data, creating test reports, and supporting manufacturability through DFM feedback. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge in electrical design tools, programming, and supplier manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 3-6 years of previous experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Ability to write reports and procedures and effectively present information to team members and management
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and present and execute viable solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Foundation in programming (C and assembly) to support hardware validation and integration
- Advanced skill using Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout
- LabVIEW for test automation
- Strong understanding of supplier manufacturing processes for components and PCBAs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Additional Requirements
- Experience using and maintaining firearms is preferred
