Job Summary
Electrical Engineer II at Forj Medical responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting embedded medical device systems throughout the product lifecycle; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality medical technologies. Applies analog and digital circuit design, embedded and microcontroller-based systems, sensor interfaces including A/D conversion and filtering, and PCB development. Performs hardware verification testing, participates in requirements definition, design reviews, and documentation, and assists with EMC and IEC 60601-1 compliance testing. May provide mentorship and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 3–6 years of related experience (or MS with 0–3 years), with medical device experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics
- Minimum 3-6 years experience with B.S.; or 0-3 years experience with an M.S.
- Experience with digital and analog electronic device development
- Proficient at quickly solving medium-complexity electrical engineering problems
- Experience taking a device from design to production
- Detailed documentation skills
