Job Summary
Electrical Engineer II responsible for supporting electrical components and assemblies in manufacturing, troubleshooting issues impacting yield/quality, maintaining process documentation, and collaborating with design, mechanical, firmware, quality, and supplier teams to improve manufacturability and reliability. Key duties include diagnosing issues with standard electrical test equipment, developing manufacturing processes and work instructions for new products, and ensuring safe operations in a cleanroom environment. Requires hands-on experience with analog/mixed-signal circuits, test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, DMMs), PCB design familiarity, and experience with opto-electronic components and fluid-handling systems. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, documentation control, and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering or production support for electrical products
- Ability to read schematics and understand analog/mixed signal circuits
- Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test tools
- Familiarity with PCB design software
- Experience with lasers, photodetectors, or other opto electronic components
- Experience with pumps, flowmeters, or fluid handling systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross functionally
- Effective communication and teamwork in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and travel between sites as needed
