Job Summary
Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed internally and by contractors to ensure compliance with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Apply mathematical and engineering principles to electrical system designs, review drawings and calculations, and troubleshoot issues while recommending solutions. Contribute to research efforts to develop solutions or new products, and coordinate with project managers and other departments to keep projects on schedule. Communicate project progress, technical issues, and recommendations to maintain effective team alignment. This role supports the development of new technologies and improvements to existing systems within the electrical engineering discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
- Must meet conditional job offer requirements
