Job Summary
Collaborate with functional groups to research, plan, design, and develop electrical aspects of aerospace and electronics products, contributing to new designs, modernization, and upgrades. Perform detailed analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements are met while utilizing computer-assisted engineering software to solve technical challenges. Decompose product and process requirements to support development, sustaining, and R&D activities, then plan, estimate, and manage work to meet project schedules and budgets. Produce accurate design documentation and oversee functional testing to ensure compliance with specifications. Adhere to company and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe operating environment and support continuous process improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline
- Analog Circuit Design
- Digital Circuit Design
- Micro-Electronics Design
- High Power Circuit Design
- VHDL Design
- VHDL Test Bench Design
- ASIC Design
- Magnetics Design
- Experience with various switching power supply topologies
- Microprocessor Core Design
- US Person
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to push up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to stand 10% of the time
- Must be able to sit 90% of the time
- Must be able to work in a standard office environment
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to use safety equipment including eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps
- Must be able to work in unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
