Job Summary
Electrical Engineer II supports initial planning through final design for complex projects under supervision, initiating and developing technical calculations, studies and drawings. Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and approving electrical drawings, ensuring conformance to project criteria, codes, and design standards. Utilize industry-standard engineering software and applications (BIM, Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD MEP) and produce engineering calculations and drawings for electrical systems, including power, lighting, grounding, and security components. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 3 years of related experience, strong communication and technical writing skills, US citizenship, and potential travel; security clearance may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent
- Must be a US Citizen
- Position may require travel
- Experience in electrical equipment and cable sizing
- Working knowledge of Power System Analysis software
- Experience in BIM, Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD MEP
