Job Summary
Conduct evaluations, tests, and analyses related to feasibility and function for prototype Printed Circuit Boards, fixtures, and tools. Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation activities on breadboards and hybrids while documenting custom tools with specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts. Execute engineering studies and measurements specified in design verification plans to provide engineering test reports. Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations and company policies while collaborating with senior engineers, scientists, customers, contractors, and vendors. Requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in layout, construction, and evaluation of PCBs and tools. Base pay ranges from $81,500 to $141,300.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in electrical/electronic engineering or related engineering field
- Minimum 3 years Relevant work experience in performing the layout construction, and evaluation of a variety of Printed Circuit Boards, fixtures and tools
- Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable FDA regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies and tasks
- Demonstrated personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and specialized applications
- Experience with "C" "C++" and python coding languages to control Automated Test System (ATE)
- Experience with Electrical hardware schematic interface development for ATE fixtures
- Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced credential or professional certification in a relevant discipline/concentration
- Six-Sigma knowledge and experience
- Training and experience in manufacturing processes and methods, especially in the manufacturing of medical devices
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model
