Job Summary
Electrical Engineer I responsible for design, development, and support of electrical control systems including panel layouts and schematics; specify and integrate components (drives, sensors, relays, instrumentation); lead or support commissioning, startup, and validation; develop processes per global codes; ensure safety, reliability, and performance; maintain BOM and drawings; program PLC and HMI (Wago/Siemens preferred); provide internal/external technical support; develop test activities; participate in continuous improvement; assist pre-sale applications; prepare technical reports and presentations; interface with vendors; ensure ISO quality objectives; travel (<10% domestically/internationally).
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Expected travel averaging less than 10%, domestic and international
- Lead or support machine and system commissioning, startup, and validation activities
- PLC and HMI programming
- Wago and Siemens preferred
- Understanding of functional safety and performance levels
- Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
