Job Summary
Manage MEP projects by developing system designs, specifications, and drawings while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate activities across disciplines, review shop drawings and submittals, and lead construction document development for public bids. Perform field inspections and calculations, verify code compliance, and prepare electrical specification packages. Assist in architectural applications for power systems, lighting, and campus infrastructure. Facilitate seamless integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and relationship management. Mentor junior staff and provide expert guidance on MEP solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline
- 5+ years of consulting and design experience with a focus on MEP and power system design and implementation
- Proficient in relevant MEP design software (REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior level staff
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
