Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Distribute projects, allocate resources, and plan timelines while managing budgets, milestones, and client scheduling. Collaborate with team leads to ensure organized execution, technical compliance with OESC and NFPA standards, and project profitability. Supervise staff, coach team members, and provide electrical engineering stamping duties as a registered P.Eng. Optimize operational processes, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and generate forecasting reports for future resource allocation. Lead business development efforts to grow the Residential Electrical division and meet new clients for systems restoration services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
- 8 yrs of experience with extensive electrical design experience in building engineering and facilities such as generators
- Experience in designing electrical power and lighting systems
- Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing
- Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Electrical load calculations, lighting design and analysis a plus
- Familiarity with OESC,OBC, IEEE, NFPA, and other industry standards and codes
- Familiarity with providing guidance and support for others within a department
