Electrical Engineer – Forensic Investigations

Job Summary
Lead forensic investigations of electrical equipment failures, performing root-cause analysis, damage assessments, and providing expert evaluations. Analyze complex electrical systems, prepare detailed technical reports, and present findings to clients. Collaborate with other experts to enhance investigative processes. Travel approximately 20% for on-site investigations across the Southeastern United States (Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and other states). Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an active Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects. Remote work from home with opportunities for travel and autonomous, high-impact assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or power design engineering
- Proficiency in MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects
