Job Summary
Electrical Engineer at FirstCall Mechanical responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting electrical systems and components across various projects. Lead design direction, provide technical assistance through the project lifecycle, review designs, and implement value engineering options. Produce drawings, specifications, and system models; provide technical oversight; coordinate with team members, clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdictions to deliver high-quality results. Requires collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Florida Professional Engineer license, proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, knowledge of NEC/IBC/IECC/ASHRAE/LEED/EarthCraft guidelines, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer License - Florida
- Revit knowledge and experience
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Experience collaborating with architectural firms and owners in studies/assessments, renovations, and new construction
- Knowledge of Mechanical/plumbing, electrical, or fire protection equipment and installation
- Knowledge of design principles and processes per ASHRAE, NEC, IBC, IECC, Life Safety Codes, LEED, EarthCraft
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
