Job Summary
Design qualification and testing environments to aid system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. Generate system test work products by applying appropriate standards, processes, and tools. Develop test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications for new products. Execute functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests on hardware, software, and systems. Implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting across all product development and manufacturing phases. Assist in developing an emulator for the Space Vehicle used in ground-based Acceptance and Qualification testing. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, TS/SCI clearance, and U.S. citizenship. Hybrid schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI within a reasonable amount of time
- U.S. Citizenship
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with some Mechanical Engineering background or experience
- Willingness to learn test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Forward thinking and self-starter

- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Familiarity with general test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeters, Signal Generators, Signal/Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc
- Electrical schematic/board layout software such as Mentor, Cadence, Eagle or KiCad
- Mechanical CAD software such as CREO, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- Microsoft tools suite
